Best and Worst Minor League Rosters

Anyone seen Bolts' MiLR ... empty!

I think that qualifies for BEST & WORST Minor league system.
Best because they have all the rm they want and can do anything they want to build it up or take on other teams' excess MiLR players. Worst because there's currently zero pipeline for their future nor a cheap source of players.

has a very young group in the minors. Sharks MiLR is probably back of the pack in terms of quality simply because they're too young to determine accurate skill level and readiness for the pro game at the highest level.

Saw your minor league roster. It's like the generic label of MiLR. Few high level prospects. Did you call them or trade them away?

We don't have that option currently.

If we went that route we could end up de-valuing draft picks. That'd suck.

I gotta say worry me a little but they've all had/have good knowledgeable owners. A few trades here and they will restock their farm system easily... so no sweat!

The GOOD 
Took a look around a think teams like even rank in my top 10 for the list for balance and FNHL-ready prospects.

just got a little better with their recent trade.
has a surprisingly good MiLR.
would've thought they had more prospects but they've also called up a few really good ones on recent yrs.

I think had a great MiLR as well but they've cashed in a bunch of blue chip prospects in the past 2 seasons but they still have a few great kids in their system including Max Domi!

My rebuilt the minors back in 2011 when we took over. One of the 1st things I did. We had great prospects to start with including Markstrom, Nick Bjugstad and added from there.

The UGLY 
On the flip side, some teams have barely anything left in the cupboard or feature a cast of forgotten nobodies destined for the KHL. LOL
harboring 6 players but Ducks have been calling up prospects regularly so it's no wonder
only has 6 guys mostly oldies
I don't recognize many players aside from recent draft pk Zach Fucale
could've nicknamed their MiLR the "Unknowns" LOL
10 guys mostly names I haven't read about

I do wonder about MiLR because they've pretty much autopicked the last few drafts and haven't really grabbed the best talent in the various draft classes (aside from 1 or 2 guys). Time will tell what direction they go once they get a new owner but if they're still League Owned next draft be sure we'll actively handpick their MILR prospects in 2014. But I do hope to find them a new owner sooner than later.

In other news I think there was a goof on Pat Maroon signing as a FA. He's listed on MiLR

Maroon thing, just another reason to add the MILR players.

Mine was crap prior to last year.  I feel like it is serviceable now.  Still my best MILR players are pretty much on my roster at this point.

I looked at those MiLRs and oooh do they need a rebuild.

I completed my MiLR rebuild during my first year when I gutted my roster and traded for a mix of young roster players and prospects. Ah good times.
