The Mets and Angels have agreed on the following trade. The Angels are obviously in a complete rebuild mode with 2015+ as the target year/years to come. Davis is a huge piece now and will perform during the early years of when the Angels are targeting, but with draft picks not being tradeable in FGM, you have to trade for MiLB talent to build and that is what the Angels are doing in acquiring Correa. Correa is the kind of player the Angels plan to build around. The Angels also net a good pitching spec in AJ Cole to add to their growing crop of farm system arms. Romero and Hanigan are part of the deal for money purposes to make it work, but could also be future pieces to move and further build the Angels. Gilmartin doesn't seem to be ranked too high in spec rankings, but from what his numbers are this year maybe he will start getting a little more attention. Thanks Corey for the easy trade discussion. I know Davis will be a huge addition to your Mets roster.
