Looking at the Power Rankings the top tier of Armchair continues to hold steady with and . Among the division leaders and playoff contenders there is some jostling for position with the making a run for a postseason spot just before the trade deadline. While the have made a huge jump to put themselves back in contention. It comes as no surprise that has taken the biggest tumble down the rankings giving the ground they've lost in the standings.

In the power rankings there wasn't as much movement as the actual season standings might suggest. As the top 3 teams from last month remain the same. In spite of having the best record in Armchair so far this season (-1) actually slide down a spot to #5 in the rankings. With (3) and (2) making the biggest gains in the top 10.

Some of the differences between the power rankings and the actual standings is explained by the ease of schedule for May. With going from the 6th easiest schedule in April (5,777) to the easiest schedule of May. Despite the better performance and easier schedule has only gained two games on who had the second easiest schedule of May. is a fascinating case as they had only the 4th easiest schedule of May and moved down in the Power Rankings yet shot up to the best record in Armchair.
