Important Dates for all GMs in Franchise GM
(All deadlines are at midnight ET, unless otherwise noted)
OFF SEASON
League wide Review of Rosters: 9/23/2024 - 9/29/2024

Off-season begins: 10/9/2024

• Unsigned Players Become FA (Includes (P-2023) Players)
• Cap Hits Raised From 75/50/25 Percent to 90/60/30 Percent
• MLB contract extensions count toward 2024 and beyond
• Re-Sign Values for Contract Extensions Updated
• League Sheet (ProFSL Rosters) rolled over to 2024
• Deadline for players on 60 Day IL to be returned to active roster or be released

Amateur Draft: 11/4/2024

• Start: 9 am ET / 6am PT

Free Agency: 1/6/2025

• Start: 9 am ET / 6am PT
• Extension values updated 3 weeks after final window opens: 3/24/25
• Position start dates:
• 1/06/25 - CI
• 1/20/25 - P
• 2/3/25 - OF
• 2/17/25 - MI
• 3/3/25 - C

IN SEASON
Opening Day: 3/27/25

Trade Deadline: 7/31/2025

• Cutoff: 5 pm ET / 2pm PT
• Both Teams/GMs must have trade rationales posted by deadline to be valid.
• Cap Hits Lowered from 90/60/30 Percent to 75/50/25 Percent

Free Agency Closes: 8/11/2025

• No opening bids after: 12 pm ET / 9am PT
• Bidding may continue on threads opened before cutoff.

• 8/18/2025 - 8/24/25 Wild Card
• 8/25/2025 - 8/31/25 ALDS/NLDS
• 9/1/2025 - 9/8/25 ALCS/NLCS
