OF Cabrera, Melky, $1.5m (2012)

For

Cubs Trade:

SP Lincoln, Brad, $0.5m (P-2013)


After some recent moves Astros needed to move some OF depth along with adding back to some of it's pitching back-ups, this exchange of back ups helps accomplish adding some depth in needed areas for both teams...

Melky has been somewhat of a bust, but I needed another outfielder and he could easily outperform that contract.  Lincoln is just another Cubs SP prospect.  Thanks for the quick offer Kent.
