OF Ozuna, Marcell, $0.5m (P-n/a),
P Romero, Enny, $0.5m (P-n/a)

Nationals receive:
OF Ludwick, Ryan, $5.5m (2013) - TB pays $4.0m in 2012
SP Saunders, Joe, $3m (2012) - TB pays $3m in 2012
SP Ohlendorf, Ross, $2m (2012) - TB pays $2m in 2012

I'm not getting CarGo, but am looking to stay in contention this season and hold onto my wild card lead.  Taking on Ludwick's contract next season is worth the gamble to try and bring home something shiny this year.  Thanks for the talks Mike, you the man.

confirms.  Ludwick has been a very pleasant surprise this year and will continue to mash for Washington.  Hoping Gindl can give us some OF depth sometime next year and happy to have Ozuna and Romero back in the fold.  Shedding the payroll in 2013 was an important factor for us.

Jake should write a blog in the art of tactful and intelligent trade negotiations.  Good stuff as always
