I am hoping that the Buccos can close out these last two weeks red hot and make the playoffs with a 93-95 base-win season.  Note that the standings will still go through a realistic W/L adjustment to all teams, so that will likely show as a high 80's win result.

The American League is fairly locked up with New York, Boston, Oakland, Texas, and Cleveland.

The National League has St. Louis, Philly, Washington, and Los Angeles fairly safe with Milwaukee, Houston, Pittsburgh, and Atlanta competing for that second wildcard spot.

Ruiz, Cuddyer, and Berkman all go to the DL.  Same thing happened to me last year.  All my guys got hurt as the playoffs approach.  It was a very disappointing year for my Phils.

Washington is lighting it up this week whereas Philly is stinking meaning they are likely to swap positions next week.

Pittsburgh = 510.13

This may turn into a non-discussion with St. Louis, Philly, L.A., Washington, and Milwaukee making the playoffs.  The Brewers are surging and someone needs to catch them or this race will be over within a couple weeks.

Huge week for Atlanta who has been up/down all year long.  They haven't been to the playoffs in several years and have been in 2nd place each of the past three years.  Funny thing is that they could finish 3rd place this year yet make the playoffs.

yea this is a huge week for me.. i could go 0-8 and pretty much fall out of the playoff race, or go 8-0 and give myself some room between a couple of the other teams going for the WC
