A couple of things to remember about the 70% rule:
1) A player can only be extended for a maximum of two years;
2) While we can normally round down, a 70% extension cannot be rounded down because it has to be at least 70% of the original contract.
This means that your extensions have to be tweaked a bit to meet the 70% threshold.
