agrees. Kennedy might be a low profile bat but could get some run with AZ beginning next season, as he is tearing up Reno (albeit in an inflated run environment). JV wasn't going to be resigned and I've got no use for him this season, so happy to get a couple of lottery picks who are close to contributing.

12M in salary covered by Rays

Angels approve. Revised the trade to satisfy commish comments. Took on more of Verlander contract, took away the pick and replaced Cusick with a different player chosen by the Rays. This trade could hurt in future years but going all in for this year and Angels hope Verlander can find his old form
